Kongsberg Maritime saw its first day as an independent, listed company on the Oslo Stock Exchange, on 23rd of April 2026
The division of the group means that the continued Kongsberg Group now consists of the defense business «Defense & Aerospace» and «Discovery». The Maritime business is now a pure-play company within ocean-based industries, which means offering everything from shipping and offshore wind, aquaculture, naval defense, oil and gas.

Maritime-virksomheten er nå et rendyrket selskapet innen havbaserte næringer, som betyr tilbud til alt fra shipping og offshore vind, oppdrett, sjøforsvar, olje og gass.
